Brian grew up in Eastham, Massachusetts. He graduated from Nauset Regional High School and attended Cape Cod Community College Business Management courses.
He has been involved in all aspects of the building trade. Construction with Joseph H. Tilton General Contracting, Cape Associates Inc., builders, Eastham Oil Burner Service, Hassett Mechanical, Inc., Makoil, Inc.
Former Fire Chief of Current Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
E.M.T. Intermediate Instructor with training in structural firefighting and wild land/urban interface.
He is the President of The Building Inspector of Cape Cod, with over 28 years in the construction industry.

My experience is hands on in construction, remodeling, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, masonry, roofing, siding, cabinet making, industrial oilfield work, maintenance, industrial electric, industrial mechanics, industrial pumping and controls and solar electric systems.
My well rounded background suits me well for this service to help new home buyers and commercial building owners to completely understand the conditions of their major investment.
I am dedicating myself to this business full time.

About James Conrad, Home Inspector

Building Inspector Cape CodJames grew up in New England and resides here on Cape Cod with his family in Brewster.  He graduated from the University of Maine and worked in the hospitality and human resources professions for multi-national companies before changing career paths.  James owned and operated a contracting and custom furniture business while living in Maine, along with being a licensed building code inspector and a certified radon measurement and mitigation specialist.  When not inspecting homes he continues to handcraft furniture in his free time.

I have always been fascinated with building construction. In particular, the science of how a home works and solving house problems.  Becoming a Home Inspector provides me the opportunity to share my experience and assist people in better understanding the house they intend to make a home.
